ACO Report
• David Aristide's adult dogs have tested positive for Lyme disease. The young dogs
have not been tested yet.
• After David Aristide's appearance near the shelter on Easter Sunday, Jeff requested that
if David is seen at the shelter or on the shelter road, volunteers should call the police.
Aristide is prohibited from being within 50 yards of any animal shelter in the state.
• Aristide's hearing is scheduled for the end of this month, but the court case won't occur
until September or October, which means that his dogs will have been at the shelter
for more than a year. AWC members agreed to schedule a meeting with Town
Manager to discuss getting an answer from town counsel about the dogs becoming
shelter dogs and town property.
• Claire Medeiros, volunteer dog trainer, is ready to meet with volunteers to discuss a
socialization plan for Aristide's dogs. The goal is to have each shift work with a
specific dog. Jeff will send a notice to volunteers.
Maintenance
Jeff said he will contact Mike Ahern again, this time by email, to ask about getting the
replacement kennel flaps installed on the broken kennel openings.

Veterinary
Eriika suggested buying anxitane from Amazon. It's a anxiety reducing product that
might be usefull on Booskie, as well as for timid cats like Tucker and Saffron. Sharon
said she would ask Lori to order it.
Miscellaneous
• The May AWC meeting might be held at Town Hall, in the small meeting room on the
second floor. Moving the meeting to Town Hall depends on the progress of the airport
building project.
• Suzanne Gill needs help distributing donated and opened pet food to needy pet owners.
Chuck volunteered to put the food in his truck periodically and take it to Suzanne's
distributor.
• Chatty Cathy seems depressed, and is isolated in her infirmary playroom. Sharon
suggested moving her to the large playroom, and to the main room if she doesn't do well
in the playroom. Sharon will also try moving Figaro to the playroom with the two cats
already there.
