The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from April 16, 2015. Passes 5/0.
Dogs
• Jeff has not been contacted by town counsel to provide an affidavit so that town counsel
can go ahead with plans for Aristide's dogs, as described in last month's minutes.
Carol will contact town manager and town counsel and urge them to proceed as
planned.
• Carol will investigate the family interested in fostering two of the Aristide adult dogs.
Town counsel advised that the dogs can legally be fostered.
Since nothing has been done over the winter to repair the frames for the kennel flaps, Jeff
agreed that the AWC could look into finding an aluminum welder to recommend to Mike
Ahern.
Foster Cafe
There are six kitten litters in foster care. Two of the litters have adoptions pending.

. Jeff approved purchase of "bite -proof' gloves for the cattery.
• Carol will "like" Amy Tarlton's website on the shelter's Facebook page since Amy
donates part of her profits to the shelter.
