The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve the minutes from October, 2015. Approved: 5/0
Dogs
• Jeff reported that the Aristide court case has been postponed to February 2"d. There has
been a motion by the Town of Mansfield to claim fees and expenses. A favorable
decision by the judge could give Mansfield custody of the dogs.
• Gary has started work on repairing frames for the kennel flaps that are missing. Jeff
recommended leaving guillotine doors open, if flaps are up, unless temperatures go below
the 30s.
Veterinary
• Incoming cats are being treated with ponazuril for coccidia. Starting in January, we will
give the three day treatment to adopted cats before they go home.
• Ana will discuss Gizmo's future with Dr. Trapani.
Maintenance
• The alarm sensor is falling off in the quarantine room. Jeff offered to glue it back.
• Several fluorescent lights are out in the cattery and office. Jeff will have them replaced.
• Most of the items at the back of the shelter can be put in the dumpster: broken carriers,
etc.

Miscellaneous
• Members agreed that Brady's applicant should get official documentation of rabies
vaccinations for her two cats before adopting Brady. His EN food will go home with
him.
• Taffy will get a lion cut to eliminate his fur malts when a volunteer is free to take
him.
• Lori will look into placing Gabby as a barn cat.
• Several foster kittens will come to the shelter this weekend.
