Executive Session
Minutes of May 23 I 2007
Present:
Chairman Louis Amoruso, Vice Chairman Sandra Levine, Clerk Ann Baldwin,
Selectman George Dentino, Selectman David McCarter.
John D'Agostino, Town Manager
The Board of Selectmen's Executive Session was called to order at 1O:26pm
Motion: To convene to Executive Session to discuss pending contract negotiations.
(McCarter/Baldwin) 5:0 passes.
Roll call vote to go into Executive Session: Chairman Louis Amoruso aye, Vice Chairman
Sandra Levine aye, Clerk Ann Baldwin aye, Selectman George Dentino aye, Selectman David

There was a brief overview of union negotiations and budget projections by Mr.
D' Agostino.
Questions arose about why the unions are receiving different benefits at contract renewal
time. Each union negotiates a benefit package with the Town Manager. Last contract the
DPW agreed to very minimal raises so this contract they are to receive larger increases.
Some of the Board members would like to see the total cost ofa full benefit package to
employees before approving any rate increases. .. ,
Motion: To extend meeting to 11:05pm. (Levine/McCarter) 5:0 passes
Motion: To adjourn executive session
