These minutes were prepared by Greg Arnold. The meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m.
Matters Discussed and/or Voted On
James Lazarra moved to approve the latest request for an $8,000 transfer from the Reserve Fund
to cover an additional dam inspection. Jack Goldberg seconded the motion and it passed on a 4-
o vote. (This transfer was related to the dam inspections contained in the original request for
which there was no information on the need for the inspection. Mr. D' Agostino indicated that
r the inspections were, in fact, required by the State to be conducted before the end of this fiscal
year.)
Roxanne Donovan then discussed here September 26, 2006 review memo, which she emphasized
did not reflect any major problems. Rather, the memo was meant simply as a means of
identifying any potential areas for improvement. For example, the MUNIS system provided a
means of keeping better tabs on payroll taxes from the municipal side; however, there is no real
way to monitor the accounting treatment from the school side of things.
