This is a new license application as the old license has lapsed. The storage of these flammables has remained the same from last year. Selectman Amoruso asked about how the storage of flammables is kept from equipment. Selectman Dentino states that the facility is well kept and run. However, this license lapsed in 2005. During a change of management the license renewal slipped through the cracks. Check with the Fire Dept about other flammables licenses in town. Are they are any other that are coming due soon? Phase 1 of this project includes final design, bidding, value engineering and other misc. items at a projected cost of $1,500,000. This is going out to bid on Friday, March 23, 2007. Bid approval and final costs should be available shortly before Town Meeting in May. Phase 1 includes the more critical items as well as some safety and code issues. Phase 1 construction will begin in FY08. Phase 2 includes the balance of the improvements and any components that may be impacted by a potential plant expansion. A phase 2 design is scheduled to start in FY2012. Selectman Baldwin does not have any questions that have not been addressed by Mr. Azinheira. Selectman Dentino has questions about the debt inclusion timeline; however the limits and time line are not fixed yet so no definitive answer can be given. The next Tri-town sewer meeting is scheduled for April 3rd. Under the current agreement, sewer flow is calculated under Title V rating. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and the future inter-municipal agreement will provide relief from this situation.
