Present:
Chairman David McCarter, Vice Chairman Louis Amoruso, Clerk George

The Board of Selectmen's meeting was called to order at 9:30pm, followed by the Pledge
of Allegiance.

Foundry LLC Parking Application
Motion: Move to authorize Chairman to sign amended application.
(Amoruso/McCue) 5:0 passes. Selectman McCue states that while he did not vote to
approve this application at the previous meeting there is a need for more parking and it is
the will of the Board to grant it.

Letter from Downtown merchants regarding parking on West Cottage St, along the
northerly side of W. Cottage between North Main St. and Old Colony Way. The merchants
request that the BOS reconsider the current parking restrictions in this area.

Chief O'Neill & Traffic Officer Lawson replied that they do not support this request and
that the vote by the BaS was to reinstall the signs and painting that were removed for
construction in prior years.
Motion: To reconsider the September 27, 2006 vote to reinstall the signs and curb
painting on West Cottage Street. (Dentino/Amoruso) 4:0 passes (McCue nay)
Motion: To lift the "no parking" restriction on West Cottage Street, along the
northerly side of W. Cottage between North Main St. and Old Colony Way, and
revert back to a 2 hr. parking limit. (Amoruso/Dentino) 5:0 passes
The Police and DPW departments will be notified of the change.
