Correspondence: HealthCare Options, Inc. contract for July 1, 2016 —June 30, 2017 Mr. Healey made the motion to approve the new HealthCare Options, Inc, contract for services to the town from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. Ms. Memory seconded the motion. Motion passed 5 -0 -0. Nursing Report for April 2016 4. Agent's Notes: A. Zika Virus: Mr. Leite said the state is monitoring the situation, but more importantly, Mosquito Control is also monitoring the situation; he said unless a vaccine is developed for the virus, the only defense will be mosquito control, He said the state probably will not do anything differently for the Zika virus than they do for equine encephalitis because it is a mosquito -borne illness. He noted at this time there has been no sign of mosquitos infected with the virus locally. However, he said the tiger mosquito, which can carry the virus, has been detected in this area. B. Swimming Pools: Mr. Leite said all swimming pools have been inspected for the year; all passed. C. Condemnation /Hoarder: Mr. Leite said there is an elderly person at risk living at Edgewood Condominiums; he will be working with Bristol Elder and Social Services. He said an emergency condemnation might have to be issued so the condominium can be cleaned out. The Mansfield Police Department also responded to the complaint. 5. New Business: Mr, Healey made the motion to approve Amy Donovan Palmer as the recommended Board of Health Agent. Ms. Wall seconded the motion. Motion passed 5 -0 -0. Patricia Firing, Human Resources, will contact Amy Donovan Palmer. Ms. Memory suggested letters be sent to each of the candidates, 6. Old Business: 7, Adjournment: Ms. Memory made the motion to adjourn a 8:25 pm. Ms, Wall seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0-0. Joseph DeGirolamo, Clerk Date All matters listed under Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Health and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.
