Minutes for Wednesday, January 20,2016
Selectman Meeting Room Town Hall P Floor
An Open Meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held at the Selectman meeting room 3`d floor
on Wednesday, Jan. 20,2016. Open Session meeting was called to order by Chairman, Mr. Michael
Trowbridge at 7:00pm.

Motion to open by Kiera O'Neil, Second by Linda Fernando
Motion U.C. 4 -0. MemberJen Walsh not oresent at the ooening.

Mr. George Dentino stated that the purpose of the meeting was to interview candidate George Sommer
for the Audit Committee which is a joint appointment of the Selectman and School Committee.
Questions were asked of the candidate by Michael Trowbridge and the Selectman about his resume and
technical skills.
Member of the Audit Committee Mr. Bazinet asked if he could present questions to the applicant. Mr.
Dentino indicated that it would not be proper and the process is in place for a joint appointment of the
two boards.
Motion was made by Selectman Kozlowski to appoint, second by Michael Trowbridge.
Motion passes 9 -0.
Motion to adjourn:
Mr. Trowbridge called for a motion to adjourn the School Committee meeting of Wednesday, January
20,2016, at 7:22 pm . A motion was made to close the meeting Kiera O'Neil, seconded by Lynn
Cavicchi.
