Attendees Present: Kevin Kemp; Chairman, Mitch Bregnard; Clerk,

1. The meeting was called to order at 6:OOpm.
2. Minutes of the Recreation Commission Meeting held on September 22, 2015.
Motion By Michael Weber to approve the Recreation Commission Meeting minutes
from September 22, 2015 as written. Seconded by Ed Westhaver.
Motion passes, 3 -0 -1.
3. Facility Requests:
-Matt Jones, NEFC Soccer Tournament, Plymouth Street Turf requested for 3/11 &18(6 -9p),
3/12 &l9 (8a -7p) and 3/13 &20 (8a -7p).
Motion: By Mike Weber to make an adjustment of the normal fee of $170 per 2 hour block
to $80 for each 2 hour block. Seconded by Ed Westhaver, Motion passes, 4 -0.
-Al Noor Academy requested use of Memorial Park M -F, weather permitting.
4. Old Business:
-Open Space and Recreation Plan- members from the RecComm are requested. Upcoming
workshops to be scheduled.
-Brown Billone Tennis Lessons are being negotiated. Sherri requested at $5 per youth and $10
per adult registration be received by the Recreation Department. No fiuther contact has been
made by Brown Billone since this request.
-Arts and Craft Show went well with about 1,000 people in attendance.
5. New Business:
A. 2016 Facility Request Forms updates /changes:
Motion: By Mitch Bregnard to approve the 2016 Facility Reservation Form as written.
Seconded by Mike Weber. Motion passes, 4 -0.
B. The Recreation Department has requested $215,000 in CIP (Capital Improvement) finding at the
November 10 CIP Committee Meeting. The funds will be directed to the improvement of the
Memorial Park playground, $100,000.00 and Mansfield's potion of the Norton Rail Trail design
fee, $115,000.00.
C. Annual Tree Lighting, Sunday, November 29 at 4pm.
D. We are offering discounted tickets to the P- Bruins for Dec. 4, 5, and 6.
E. Dog Training Demonstration is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2, Mansfield Public Library.
F. Registration is ongoing for winter basketball, volleyball, yoga, and youth karate.
