EXECUTIVE SESSION

Present: Chairman Brad Wills, Lou Amoruso, Dan Donovan
Light Department Director: Jack Beliveau
Town Manager: John D' Agostino
Present at 7:45 p.m. Selectman David McCarter
Chairman Wills asked Director Beliveau to bring the Light Commissioners up to date on
the land acquisition and negotiations.
Director Beliveau presented the Tetreault Appraisal. A variety of solutions to the issue at
hand were put forth by several of the Commissioners. Selectman McCarter was opposed
to purchasing the land. He doubted the need to move the poles to another location and
asked why this was not raised last January when the Gilbert Street project was started.
Director Beliveau stressed the need for land because of a recent notification by the EP A
that poles can no longer be stored at the High Street location or at the DPW.

Motion: To put on the warrant to take Paglia's land.
(Donovan) No Second
Commissioner Donovan withdrew his motion.
Town Manager D' Agostino will come to a future meeting with the answers to the
following questions by Commissioner McCarter. What if anything can be built? Can we
store poles down there? Can we do what we want or are there conservation issues? What
are the issues out there for residential/or to build? Probability of Bonvie building and
what? Waiting on appraisal of Sweetlands. Does anyone know where the land is? Can
we still store poles on High Street?
