Mr. Edward Broderick came before the Planning Board to discuss the pos-

The modification objective to the subdivision will be to create a com-
munity within this development that will be aimed at "empty nesters ". The
Broderick's plan to develop this in the area of the original Merrifield
and Scarborough, which will no longer exist. The new road, a cul -de -sac,
will be called Park Lane and will include a common area. They are plan-
ning a park -like environment in this area which will be at the entrance to
the development and will include croquet and golf areas, possibly a
gazebo, and will be maintained by a homeowners type group. Lots 109
through 150 will be modified within York Road and the City of Attleboro
owned property. Chairman Quinn requested that the Brodericks be very
specific in their description of the area of "Forest Park" to be modified
and with the drainage calculations when filing for this modification. A
suggestion was also made that "Park Lane" be changed to something else due
to the fact that "Park Row" and "Park Street" are existing roads in
Mansfield. The Planning Board feels this modification suggestion is a
good concept.
