Around the Table Planner LaCasse discussed the way the Planning Board should handle the public hearing for the rescission of a subdivision approved in November of 1954 and the public hearing for "Timberline ", which is the same property. Planner LaCasse 1 feels it should be a simultaneous decision because if the Board votes in favor of rescinding the original subdivision and subsequently disapproves "Timberline ", the applicant could lose his chance to develop on this property. Chairman 4 Planning Board's Minutes July 8, 1987 Page -5- Quinn informed the Board that Special Town Counsel Alphonse Query feels the Board should open the rescission hearing at 8:00, close the hearing and then vote it and then open the hearing for "Timberline ". After discussion, the Board decided that they would open the rescission hearing, continue this hearing until the end of the evening. Open the public hearing for "Timberline ", set the date and time for a con- tinuation of "Timberline" if necessary; reopen the public hearing for the rescission and set the time for the continua- tion of the rescission hearing for five minutes apart from "Timberline" and vote on the rescission before making a deci- sion an "Timberline ". Planner LaCasse informed the Planning Board that the ap- plicants for the Hullquist Terminals would be coming before the Board July 22, 1987 for a discussion of their special permit. 7.
