11. Public Discussion
Michael Trowbridge, Hutchins- Trowbridge reviewed the problems
with the "Form A" (ANR) for Flint.
Mr. Joseph Zeneski, 842 East Street. Mr. Zeneski expressed
the feeling ,that, even though there is resistance on the
Planning Board to appoint Mr. Sebetes to the Master Plan Ad-
visory Council because he might be a controversial person,
the Planning Board should not be afraid to welcome Mr.
Sebetes due to the fact that all hoards should welcome oppos-
ing viewpoints. To refuse such an appointment could cause
people to wonder what might be wrong with a certain board or
committee. Mr. Zeneski stated :there was 'always the pos-
sibility that a person with opposing views might change their
opinion ,given the opportunity to become an active member of a
board or committee.
Selectman John Dunn stated citizens have voiced concern over
the condition of certain roadways within the Town and cited
Fruit Street near Mansfield Manor in particular. Mr. Dunn
stated that he hoped rthe Planning Board would have something
in the provisions that the developer will bring the road back
to a passable condition. The Planning Board explained that
most of the homes in that area are "Form A" lots and the
Planning Board has no control over the roadway ,'under "Form A"
regulations.
Another area of concern is along Ware Street where the
drainage is a problem due to the 'tremendous amount of fill
for the lots. Once ,
a 9 ain `these lots are also "Form 1A" lots
and the Planning Board is responsible for making sure there
is sufficient frontage only.
The restoration of Cabot Pond was discussed. The Planning ?
Board'informed Mr. Dunn that this is now out of their hands
and that he should speak to the Building Inspector.
