such as a barber shop or small bank. (Ted Kelley stated there will be a
convenience store, barber shop, bank and restaurant which will be
strictly for residents and their guests and information will be provided
on parking.)
• Provisions for permanent open space should be given.
• Discussed buildings being overpowering an Willow-Street side and feels
three stories could be too high.
• Plan should show existing houses (especially Andrews parcel and emergency

Planners discussed Special Town Counsel, Alphonse Query's comments regarding
roadway length as it applies to the Sparks Case and the Potter Case. Board mem-
bers were confused as to whether the dead -end street issue relates only to cul-
de -sacs which are longer than 650', or if this same ruling applies to a looped
roadway. Community Development Director LaCasse stated the Planning Board
should request specific information from Mr. Query relating to the "Dead -End"
section of the Subdivision Rules and Regulations. Mr. LaCasse will study this
further, also.

( 1988 with the Board of Selectmen, Master Plan Advisory Council and Planning
Board. Mike will point out at this joint meeting that the Master Plan Advisory

Trends Modified. Chapter III is the proposal of the Master Plan Advisory Coun-
cil and should be reviewed thoroughly. Planner Sohn requested that the IEP
proposals for zoning changes regarding the Water Supply Protection District be
