The regular meeting of the Board was Called to order at 7 :55pm in
the Town Nall. Present at the hearings mere the following:
George H. .iojtkicwicz, Chairman, Eric J_'. Butler, Clerk, Harold P.
Collins, Conley G. Fagan, Leonard F. Flynn, appointed a voting
member in place of Nicola. C. Holm.
The hearing for Edward & Loretta Martin for a Variance from Section IV
Schedule B of the Zoning By -Lan: to construct an addition to an
existing non - conforming single family hot:te at 2 Jenrell Street, said
addition having less than 40' front yard, which is non - conforming in
an Agricultural Zone began at 7:55pm. The application eras labeled.
as !sYhibit "A "; the newspaper advertisement as -Exhibit "B", Plan
of Land and as -built plan dated. April 199 1985 prepared by Ralph J.
Vitale, Registered Professional Engineer as Exhibit "C". No
correspondence was received from the Planning Board. The hearing
closed at 8 :12pm.
The hearing for Dennis & Deborah Giokas for a. Variance from Section IV
Schedule B of the Zoning By -Law to construct an addition to an
existing single family dwelling at 6 Tanya. Drive, said addition
having less than a 40 foot front yard which is non - conforming in an
Agricultural Zone, began at 8:14pm. The application was labeled as
Exhibit "A"; the newspaper advertisement as Exhibit "B"; Plan of
Land shorting the dimensions of the proposed addition prepared by
RIM Engineering Co., Inc. ;dated April 10, 1985 as Exhibit "C ". The
Planning Board was recorded as being in favor of granting the
Variance. The hearing closed at 8:22pm.
The hearing for Robert & Barbara Notartomaso for a Variance from
Section IV Schedule B of the Zoning By-Law to construct an addition
to an existing single family dwelling at 223 Winter Street, said
addition having less than 25 foot side yard, which is non - conforming
in an Agricultural Zone began at 8:25pm. The hearing was continued
from April 2, 1985. The application was labeled as Exhibit "A ", the
newspaper ad as Exhibit "B, ", Plan of Land prepared by RIM Engineering
Co., Inc. dated November 15, 1985 as Exhibit "C ", sketches of
proposed addition as -Exhibit "D ". The Planning Board was recorded as
being opposed to granting the variance. The hearing closed at 8:37pm.
Minutes of April 16, 1985 were read. and approved.
Bills were signed.
Motion made by Mr. Flynn and seconded by Mr. Collins to grant the
Variance for Edward & Loretta. Martin. All were, in favor.
Motion made by Mr. Coll -ins and seconded by Mr. Butler to grant the
Variance for Dennis & Deborah Giokas. All were in favor.
Motion made by Ir. Collins to grant the variance for Robert & Ba.rba.ra.
Notartontaso. No second. Motion made by Hr. Flynn and seconded. by
Mr. Eagan to deny the Variance. All were in favor.
