sign off for approval.
Generator — Rich Feeley spoke with Moe Goyle at Thompson Consulting on October 30, 2001 to
discuss waiving fee proposed ($9,000) to provide design for new generator. MBC suggested that
if electrical loads were calculated properly, TCI would have been required to provide a generator
design under their contract. Mr. Goyle agreed to investigate issue further. Mr. Goyle stated, that
if TCI miscalculated load in original documents, they will provide new generator design at no
additional cost to the Town. TCI is proceeding with design work and had indicated to Rich
Feeley that a working design would be ready this week. Rich Feeley to follow up.

Stairway #6 Infill — Concern raised previously re: possible structural issue related to infill of
Stairway 46 (2nd floor). Tile is cracked outlining previous stairway and floor is depressed in this
area. MBC Secretary has left several detailed messages as well as written requests to Structural
Engineer to review and evaluate. Davey Associates (former subcontractor of Keyes Associates)
refused to review the stairway issue without a new Contract Agreement. Engineer needs to
address safety concern ASAP. Determination needs to be made whether condition is a structural
problem. Discussion was that if the stairway problem was due to Contractor error JTC would be
back - charged for Engineer's services. If problem occurred due to lack of detail provided on
drawings done by Davey Associates, Towns will not pay additional cost for Engineer's services
necessary to correct issue. Rich Feeley to follow up with Bruce Davey.
Project Close out — Due to the number of discrepancies that were corrected by MBC in
previously submitted requisitions, David Young suggested the MBC verify math is accurate prior
