OLD BUSINESS
Bridgewater Library. Janet reported that the Bridgewater Library will be remaining
open on a very limited basis, fifteen hours per week. Ten staff members have been terminated and
the remaining personnel will be working only twenty hours per week. Decertification remains
highly likely but service to Bridgewater residents will continue until that time (probably January or
( February).
One book, one community. The project is progressing, with an initial program planned
for February 1. A lecture by Greg Mortenson, the author of Three Crrps of Tea, appears feasible.
