Board of Trustees' Meeting: January 3, 2009"

Attendance: Nancy Breef -Pilz, Joe Flynn, Chris Cormier Hayes, Director Janet
Campbell. Joe convened the meeting at 8:10 AM.
Secretary's report: unavailable
Treasurer's report: read and approved
Correspondence: A Certificate of State Aide was received, announcing $16,000
awarded in 2 parts. Letter of thanks from Rotary Club for Toys for Tots. Invitation to
Symposium for Library Trustees on March 7, 2009 in Boxbough.
Librarian's report: Reports were received and details discussed.
Old Business
20a' Anniversary (May 2009): Janet and Gail of COA will coordinate a date in
February for a joint meeting.
FY10 budget: Discussion on concerns and possible cutbacks.
New Business
Programs: The new program policy limits 1 program per quarter.
Fine Free: A fine free week will be held during Library Week in April. Food donations
in lieu of fines will be collected for the Food Pantry.
Next meeting: February 7, 2009. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 AM.
