Secrelry's report. Minutes of the December meeting were reviewed and approved.
Treasurer's report. The treasurer's report for December was reviewed and approved.
Chris will invite the new Merrill Lynch account representative to attend a meeting in the next few
months.
Librarians' reports. The librarians' reports were reviewed and details discussed.
NEW BUSINESS
Sun Chronicle. Janet was interviewed by the new Sun Chronicle reporter,
Lauren Carter, last Friday (January 6). An article will be forthcoming. Much of the discussion
concerned the ongoing transitions in library services, including the continuing increases in
downloadable materials.
Gifts. Recent gifts were discussed, including a donation by an Easton book club in memory
of a deceased member and a subscription to American History.
Next meeting. February 4, 2012. The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
