BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING - SEPTEMBER 2% 2012

Secretary's report. The secretary's report for June was reviewed and=a �i6e
Treasurer's report. The treasurer's reports for June, July, August and September were
reviewed and approved.
Librarians' reports. The librarians' reports were reviewed and highlights discussed.
OLD BUSINESS
LSTA grant. Janet advised that the program was an overall success and will prepare a final
report to the BLC. $1,600 in unused funds have been returned.
NEw BUSINESS
Selectmen's' meetings. Mansfield Cable will be giving the library a DVD copier so the
library can make copies of the originals on file here.
Copier. The contract will be expiring soon and Janet is looking into a replacement.
Wad. The board approved purchase of an IPad for the reference department.
Meeting room door. The COA has asked the library to share the cost of a power door for
the meeting room. The board approved $1,000 for the project.
Small study room. Some patrons have been monopolizing the small study room. The
board approved limiting use to two hours with a sign in/out log.
Gifts. Gifts were reviewed including a gift in memory of Peg Haines.
Next meeting. November 3, 2012. The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
