1. Meeting was called to order at 6:20 p.m.
2. Minutes from April 4, 1990 were accepted as printed by
Powers /Clemmey.
3. General discussion of warrant article sponsored by Fair Housing in
regard to accessory apartment age restriction. Unanimously voted in
support of article. (Motion made by David Clemmey, seconded by Marilyn
Powers). Marilyn advised committee members that the planning board
voted 5 to 1 to not support the article and had suggested that if the
article passed the planning board would seek to eliminate the
accessory apartment zoning in its entirety.
4. Barbara Orlando informed the committee that she had been in contact
with Ed Duesser at the Middle School in regard to the poster contest.
The contest will be run during the month of May. A suggestion was
made to contact local newspapers to get press coverage of the event.
5. A copy of a letter from Thomas Dwyer to Meaghan Starkey of the
( 'ass. Housing Partnership was read to the committee. The letter
stated that the board of selectman had voted to continue as the
Mansfield Housing Partnership.
Meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 1990 at 6:00 pm.
