MINUTES
Januarp.22, 1992
Barbara Orlando, Chairman, Nancy Surdel, Clerk, Thomas
Brady, David Clemmey, Marilyn Powers
Burke, Fair Housing Director
1. Meeting called to order at 6:25 P.M.
2. Discussion of the Fair Housing Committee sharing a
booth with Habitat for Humanity at the Rotary Home
Show on February 7, 8, & 9, 1992 free of charge.
The booth must be staffed at all times during the weekend:
Friday 5 -9 P.M., Saturday 10 -9 P.M., and Sunday 12 -5 P.M.
The underlying theme of the Home Show this year will be
health.
A handout possiblity could be a poster to color. If Fair
Housing members do not man their own booth, maybe posters
could be given to Realtors at the Home Show to hand out.
Fair Housing Director Shaun Burke will contact MCAD and EOCD
to ask if they will have information to present at the show.
Tom Brady, David Clemmey, and Marilyn Powers will be avail-
able to man the booth.
Following discussion of time needed to prepare the proper
presentation of materials at the Home Show, there was a con-
sensus not to pursue a booth this year.
Chairman Orlando will contact realtors and banks about dis-
playing the posters rather than the Fair Housing Committee
having a booth of its own.
Shaun Burke stated that he has talked to the Town Manager
about the poster presentation at the Selectmen's meeting.
3. Adjournment - 7:05 P.M.
