Thomas Brady, David Clemmey, Marilyn Powers

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:20 P.M.
2. MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 19, 1992
MOTION: To accept the minutes of February 19, 1992 as
corrected.
(Powers- Brady) All in favor. PASSES.
3. OLD BUSINESS
Discussion of the Poster Contest
Distribution of the posters is continuing. Thomas Brady
and David Clemmey will each take some posters to
distribute. Now that the new Board of Selectmen has
reorganized, a date will be set for presentation of the
winning posters to the Selectmen.
The poster will not be in this year's annual report
because the request was received too late.
Marilyn Powers stated that she will send thank you
letters to the participants of the Rotary Home Show who
displayed posters.
4. NEW BUSINESS
Future Speaker Susan Johnson of South Shore Housing Susan
Johnson is the coordinator of the new Landlord Network
for South Shore Housing. Ms. Johnson will be invited to
speak at the May 20 Fair Housing Committee meeting at
7:30 P.M. by Barbara Orlando. Marilyn Powers will
explore the possibility of having Cable videotape the
speaker for broadcast. A press release was also
suggested.
5. DISCUSSION OF SPRING AND FALL ACTIVITIES
Besides having the poster presentation at the Selectmen's
meeting and another poster contest after the start of the
new school year, there was only one other suggestion to
consider attending the EOCD Fair Housing Conference.
6. AROUND THE TABLE
At this time the Committee discussed a warrant article
regarding accessory apartments that they had presented
two years ago. This will be discussed at a later date.
Fair Housing goals will have to be updated in the Fall of
1992.
David Clemmey stated that a Housing Court for Southeast
Massachusetts now exists. The office is in Taunton and
rotates at District Courts.
