Mansfield Fair Housing Committee
September 7, 1994
PRESENT: Judy Martone, Ron Webster, Sue Smith, Marilyn

1. Housing Authority Representative
No correspondence has been received to date regarding the
Housing Authority Representative situation. (Arthur
Remillard has recently undergone open heart surgery)
2. Poster Contest
Mr. Burke has contacted Linda Swallow at the Qualters
Middle School. There are some questions that needed to
be answered by the committee, such as what are the ground
rules and prizes. The school would like three weeks
advance notice as to when to hold the contest. Mr.
Webster and Ms. Smith volunteered to assist in the
preliminary judging. Ground rules and prizes were
discussed. Past supporters will be contacted to confirm
whether they wish to participate again before going to
other sources. Ann Marie's Italian Kitchen is already
willing to participate again. (Ron- Marciano's Sporting
Goods, Judy - Bookends, Marilyn - Mansfield Cooperative Bank
are other contacts.)
The possibility of using the winning poster's slogan on a
lapel button was discussed. Marilyn will contact
ProSignGraphics for a price quote and the Cooperative
Bank about funding this instead of a prize.
Ms. Smith will contact US Trust to see if they will
donate a Gift Certificate to the Emerald Square Mall.
