MINUTES
December 10, 1997
PRESENT: Ronald Webster, Roland Benoit, Judith Martone, Sherry Buck and Louise
Motyka. Also present was Shaun Burke, Fair Housing Director.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
The Poster Contest was postponed until after the first of the year.
Roland Benoit presented a printout of land owned by the town.
Shaun Burke distributed to committee members a copy of the letter written by Barbara
Mahoney of Plainville. She, along with her husband Ted, and Don Baker own the parcel of
land off Oakland and Charles Streets upon which they propose senior housing.
Louise Motyka agreed to arrange for a representative from Habitat for Humanity to attend the
regional meeting on January 28, 1998.
Our next meeting was scheduled for January 7, 1998 at 6:00 p.m.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
