MINUTES
May 17, 2000
PRESENT: Ronald Webster, Roland Benoit, Cheryl Buck, Shelly Roberts, Kathleen
Davidson. Also present were Shaun Burke, Fair Housing Director and Michelle Powell.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Fair Housing Poster Contest
The committee discussed and judged the poster contest entries. The winners are as follows:
Grand Prize Stephanie Craton - $100 savings bond from North Easton Savings
Bank
0 Prize Jessica Allen — Soccer Ball from Grogan - Marciano
Sporting Goods and $10 gift certificate from Bookends
2n' Prize Katie Higgins — Five video rentals from Video Mania
3rd Prize Amanda McCafferty — Soccer Ball from Grogan - Marciano
Sporting Goods
The awards will he presented at the Fair Housing Committee meeting on June 7, 2000, with a
televised presentation at the Board of Selectmen's meeting on the same night at 7:45 p.m.
Correspondence
The commmittee discussed the following iterns to be done.
1. Local Housing Partnership — Mr. Burke will contact DHCD
2. Letter to Board of Selectmen on the sale of the Coral Street lots
3. Letter to Board of Selectmen requesting associate members be appointed to the committee
4. Letter to Betsy Cabana on the poster contest winners and award schedule
Letter to Board of Selectmen requesting a workshop be scheduled either June 21 or June
2&
