3. Ouestions & Comments:
• At 6:15pm, Geoff Williamson presented his concern about the Hutchason Field equipment
shed being covered in graffiti. He said the field is beautiful, but the shed is an eye sore. He
wanted to paint it over in green and maybe put an "M" on it as well and then put on a coat of
"graffiti proof ". In his calculations, itwould cost about $400. He can get plenty of volunteers
from soccer and lacrosse to help paint it.
Kevin Kemp suggested he get in touch with the art department, ScottBrigante. Sherri Gumon
will give Mr. Brigante, Mr. Williamson's email. Kevin Kemp also suggested that Mr.
Williamson gets in touch with the artist doing the town mural and see what he is using on his
mural for graffiti proofing and maybe they can share it and save money.
Motion: By Ed Westhaver to approve the funding of the painting ofthe equipment shed
at Hutchason Field up to $500. Seconded by Mike Weber. Motion passes, 4-0.
At 6:30pm, Ian Bryer came to ask about an idea for his Eagle Scout project. After discussion,
it was determined that the idea of converting the Hornet's Nest into a useable building for the
summer camp for arts and craft and games. Half would be used by the camp and the other half
would still be used by Pop Warner for storage of football equipment. Mr. Bryer would need to
clean it out, paint it, screen openings, put up shelving and assist in the removal of the old
