Recreation Commission Meeting

1. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.
2. Reservation requests:
Troup Realty — Request for use of South Common for a Saturday or Sunday — Client
appreciation picnic — no specific date.
Motion: By Ed Westhaver to approve their request and charge Troup Realty the
standard $50 for use. Seconded by Kevin Kemp. Motion passes, 3 -0 -1 abstention.
3. New Business:
Kevin Kemp suggested we send a letter to CIP regarding the Town Meeting May 15, 2007
presentation outlining a 2 year Capital Improvement plan for Plymouth Street and the
development of the "back 40 ". We would request $446,000. We will include the original
version of the financial request of $446,000 and break down the request to 151 year $250,000
and 2" d year $196,000.
Motion: By Kevin Kemp we send a formal letter to CIP outlining the 2 year request for
funds. Seconded by Dave Leary. Motion passes 4 -0, all in favor.
4. Motion: By Dave Leary to adjourn. Seconded by Kevin Kemp.
Motion passes, 4 -0, all in favor.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
