A letter was received from Betty Friedberg, National
Register Director at the Massachusetts Historical
Commission. In order to complete their review of the
National Register nomination of the Fisher - Richardson House,
the commission is requesting additional information.
Mansfield Historical Commission members divided up the
following tasks:
Barbara Orlando will provide photographs of the surrounding
landscape and answer questions about some structural
details. She will also provide a U. S. Geological Survey
map of the site.
Kate Viens will call the Society for the Preservation of New
England Antiquities to find out what documents still exist
that concern the 1930s restoration and will locate a copy of
the Old Time New England article on the Fisher - Richardson
House.
Jean Nordbeck will provide a sketch map of the site.
David Loving suggested that the state historical commission
be sent copies of "before and after" floorplans of the
restoration.
The commission noted $267.17 in its gift account.

The commission received a printout from the MBTA to advise
the town of historic structures surveyed by the Authority.
The MBTA believes that the town's commuter rail station was
built around 1910. Pat will call the MBTA to let them know
that this is not correct.
Pat noticed that one of the plaques made to date a historic
building -- Don Currivan's home -- is peeling. Jean will
check on the others.
The meeting ajourned about 8:30 p.m.
