The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Present were
Wayne Jacques, Jean Nordbeck, Pat Cataloni, Gean Parks, and
Kate Viens.
Plans for the Park Row Celebration were discussed.
Jean has lists of graduates and a photo of a 75th reunion.
The memorabilia Jean and Gean have collected will be
displayed in Miss Lyman's room. Some material will also be
put on a bulletin board in the hallway.
Kate asked about labelling exhibits or writing on
blackboards how classrooms once were used, but the
commission felt that visitors would be more interested in
seeing how rooms are used today. •If they don't remember
details about the old Park Row, they'll ask questions.
Pat will remind Lorilee to announce the open house during
the UnCommon Commons and will ask her to set up a table on
the common at 10:00. Kate will cover for Pat if the event
is moved to Sunday because of rain.
Six volunteers (2 Cal the door, 2 with yearbooks and 4
roaming) will arrive at 10:45. Jean and Gean will bring
lunch into the nurse's office. Barbara will bring coffee.
Kate will bring copies of the building survey, and pads and
pencils for alumni to sign in at the door. Pat suggested
that "memory" sheets also be kept on hand.
Pat, Wayne, and Kate will try to attend the Foxboro
Historical Commission roundtable in Foxboro June 25th, our
last meeting before the summer.
The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
