HISTORICAL COMMISSION MEETING
February 23, 1993

The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. Present were commission members
Kate Viens, Jean Nordbeck, Wayne Jacques, Barbara Orlando, and Gean Parks.
Also in attendance was Pat Treckman from the Mansfield News.
Minutes of the January 25, 1993 meeting were approved and correspondence was
reviewed.
CORRESPONDENCE REVIEWED:
- Memorandum from William F. William, Town Manager, regarding "Closing of
Annual Town Warrant ".
- Planning Board minutes for their January 6, 1993 meeting.
- Letter from Andrew D. Barr regarding alternative to development of the
"Great Woods ".
- State Register of Historical Places from MHC.
BUSINESS:
1. Fisher Richardson National Register Nomination.
Barbara updated commission members on the Fisher Richardson National
Register nomination. All requested information (NR Director's letter
requesting additional information was read at January meeting) was sent
to Betsy Friedberg, National Register Director.
2. Memorial Library National Register Nomination.
No new information on Soldiers Memorial Library National Register
nomination.

BUSINESS (Continued):
7. New Project.
Commission members felt gravesite project and the possible need for
further surveying of town buildings would see us through the year.
The meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
