HISTORICAL COMMISSION MEETING
October 26, 1993
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. Present were David Loving, Pat
Cataloni, Wayne Jacques and Gean Parks.
Vice - Chairperson David Loving chaired the meeting.
September minutes were approved.
i CORRESPONDENCE REVIEWED:
1. Town of Mansfield Revenue Sheet: The Commission has $267.17 in it's
account.
2. Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer, October 6, 1993, RE: Sports
Bubble (old business).
3. Response from Ed Bell, MHC, regarding historic sites in Mansfield,
10/20/93 - (old business).
4. Preservation briefs from MHC, #14 and #17.
5. Advertisements.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Gravesite Project:
A. East Mansfield - no update.
B. Deane Family Plot #17, survey completed by Gean.
C. Codding - no update.
D. Hodges - completed by Wayne.

E. Drake - waiting for Form E from Kate.
2. Stop and Shop Site - no update.
3. Soccer Bubble Site Letter from State Archaeologist indicated there were
no significant historic properties located at site. MHC would not
request further study.
4. Baybrook site - no update.
5. Other Old Business:
Correspondence #3 from Ed Bell, MHC showed School Street Historic Site
is located on School Street and not on Fruit Street (September Minutes).
NEW BUSINESS:
No new business.
