MANSFIELD HISTORICAL COMMISSION MINUTES
for January 11, 199 at 7:30 PM at Mansfield Library
Present: Pat Cataloni, Gean Parks, Jean Nordbeck, Leslie Pasch, Charlotte Scozzafava,
Kate Viens and Claire Dempsey.
Claire presented the results of her research on the Fisher Richardson House. There is
no evidence that the house was built in 1710 as is generally believed. She presented the
facts she was able to verify and detailed her methods of research. Using this information
to add to tours of the house was discussed. Claire would recommend some background
reading in the specific time period and an effort to focus the tours on Mansfield and the
history of the house and families.
The meeting with the Mansfield Historical Society has been changed to January 20
from 1 -4 pm at Town Hall.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 pm.
