Guests: Cindy Crawford and Lois Thomas. The placing of plaques in the cemeteries was discussed and exact wording was chosen. Billie pointed out that we cannot include a plaque for Bird Cemetery as it is privately owned. The idea of creating a tour manual for the Fisher - Richardson House based on Claire Dempsey's research was discussed. It was decided that a manual rather than a script would be appropriate. Pamphlets will be developed from the manual and color -coded to each section -- architecture, family history, etc. Tour guides could speak from the pamphlets and the manual could be a resource for more information. Copies could be kept at the Mansfield Public Library and the schools. Students would have access to this background information prior to their school tours. Charlotte will extract information from the second section of Claire's report. Lois wondered if anyone could create a video about the house or film the children's tours on June 4 -6. The idea of including only artifacts from Mansfield and perhaps opening the barn to show farm implements was discussed. The meeting was adjourned at 9:07 pm. Respectfully submitted, Leslie A. Pasch Secretary
