Mansfield Historical Commission Minutes

Present: David Loving, Gean Parks, Leslie Pasch, John Rau and Kate Viens.
The Chairperson, Kate Viens, presided.
The minutes from the July 28 meeting were approved on a motion by Gean,
seconded by John. All in favor.
Leslie will be one of the speakers at Founders' Day at the Fisher Richardson
House on September 12 at 3 pm. She will outline the National Register process
and present the Mansfield Historical Society with a framed copy of the certificate.
Kate spoke to Kevin McNatt, President of the Society, about photos for the
brochure for the house. The Mansfield Women of Today's house tour on October
4 will start at the Jennie Copeland House.
The rest of the meeting was devoted to revising the brochure. The three -fold
brochure will contain a photo, name, address, year and a note about the National
Register listing. The back will contain hours, a map, a short description of the
roles of the Society and the Commission and a note about free admission. The
inside will have photos and a short blurb about the house and families.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30 pm.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 pm.
