Mansfield Historical Commission Minutes
for December 8, 1998 at 7:30 pm at Mansfield Town Hall
Office at:

Present: David Loving, Jean Nordbeck, Leslie Pasch, John Rau and Kate Viens..
The Chairperson, Kate Viens, presided.

1. Notice on GATRA/Train Station public meeting
2. Copy of letter to Kate Viens about her tern expiring
3. Letter of resignation from Kate Viens
The minutes from the November 24 meeting were approved on a motion by
Leslie, seconded by John. All in favor.
Kate stated that she will be not be re- applying for another term on the
Commission when her present one expires on December 31 due to other
committments. Her resignation was accepted with regret and appreciation for her
dedication and effort during the years she has served the town on the Commission.
Leslie will speak to the Mansfield Historical Society and the Town Manager about
filling the two vacancies. Kate will represent the Commission at the GATRA/
Train Station meeting on December 10. She presented a draft for the town report
which was approved.
The rest of the meeting was spent finishing the draft of the RFP for the
Preservation Projects Fund grant. Leslie will forward it to the Mass Historical
Commission.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, January 26 at 7:30 pm.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 pm. Motion by David, seconded by Jean.
