5. Memo from MBC to James Bright Architects re: Fisher- Richardson House
proposal; Mr. Bright is working on a proposal with Tom Paske and has
established his cost as $9,800, which is under the level required to put the project out
to bid.
6. Memo from John D'Agostino re: Amoral Town Meeting Warrant
7. December 2001 Historical Commission budget summary
8. Memo to Kevin McNatt, Historical Society from Mr. D'Agostino re: security system
at the Fisher- Richardson House. The society has been paying for the security system
and the telephone while the house was occupied and contained the society's furniture
and other articles. However, since the society has removed all of its possessions, they
will no longer pay for the phone or the system. Mr. D'Agostino's memo indicates his
feeling that there is no need to continue the alarm system at all until the house is re-
occupied.
The commission discussed its budget, which is approximately $4,500, and the fact
that the entire amount is rarely spent during any given year. Therefore, there is no
reason the commission can't assume that yearly expense, which is approximately $26
per month for the phone and $56 quarterly for the monitoring. The cortunission will
consider asking for an additional lire item for this expense at the next budget session.
Motion: To expend Historical Commission funds to pay for the alarm system and
telephone, approximately $500 per year. (Slreaff- Davis) All in favor. PASSES
Motion: To adjourn at 8:15 p.m. (Parks - Nordbeck) All in favor. PASSES
