Present: Bob Servais, Chairman; Annette Shaw, Bernie O'Malley, Martin Conboy,
Jennifer Davis, Clerk
The commission discussed the Old Country Store and a possible Otis Street Historic
District, which would have to include all the homes in the district. Consensus was
that it might be better to work with the new owner, Chris Baker, and start with a
National Register application for the Old Country Store,
4. Old Business
The commission discussed posting a notice on cable access, in the Mansfield News or
in the Light Department flyers.
The commission discussed the Doughboy statue on the South Common, which will be
75 years old on Memorial Day 2012. Consensus was to invite John Hogan, Mansfield
Veterans' Agent, to the next meeting, to review his records and discuss what he
knows about the statue.

Motion: To adjourn at 7:45 p.m. (Davis- Servais) All in favor. PASSES
