A meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held at the Mansfield IIigh School Library,
on Tuesday, March 11, 2007. The meeting was opened with a motion by Mrs. Mill1 , -Z bib [
Mr. Trowbridge; a motion was made by the School Committee to go into Executive Session, 2nd
by Mrs. Losiewicz. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jean Miller at 7:10

Mrs. Brenda Hodges, Superintendent of Schools
Mr. Edward Vozzella, Director of Finance
Absent from the meeting:
New Business:
The Superintendent held a Budget Workshop with the Principals from all the schools along with
Department Chairs to discuss the Budget. hrcluded in the discussion was a profile of the schools
describing educational programs and services offered. A comparison was made as to how these
services are presently delivered and the impact that the proposed budget cuts would have on the
delivery of these services. The Department Chairs presented a proposed schedule for the high
school that could mitigate the negative impact on loss of staff and provide broader access to the
curriculum for all students.
In attendance were a large number of community members along with some Mansfield High
School students. Questions were entertained by the committee and there was lengthy discussion
among the audience.
Motion to adiourn
Motion was made to adjourn the School Committee Meeting of March 11, 2008 at 11: l OPM for
the sole purpose of adjourning. Motion by Jean Miller, 2 "d by Frank Delvecchio.
