MBC MEETING MINUTES — Meeting Minutes were reviewed and approved as follows:
Member Young received excused absence, and did not attend any MBC Meetings, which
contained discussion regarding the Water Treatment Facility Project.

MANSFIELD SCHOOLS PROJECTS
School Feasibility Stud, Project —Update
• A Warrant Article is currently submitted by the School Dept. to request funds in the
amount of $178,000 be appropriated by Town Meeting (scheduled on Dec. 6. 2005) for
schematic design related to future school expansion.
• Member Young noted that not all members of the School Feasibility Study supported the
School Department's action to request funds for a schematic design at this time.
• Due to an uncertainty of future reimbursement by the State, School Superintendent John
Moretti is reconsidering whether to proceed with a request funds for a schematic design
for future school expansion at the fall Special Town Meeting.
OTHER
Special Town Meeting — MBC is posted to meet at the Qualters Middle School this coming
Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 7:00 P.M.
Member Young left the meeting at 8:25 P.M.
Water Treatment Facility
Correspondence:
• MBC Chairman James Liddick issued a memo to Water Operations Manager Kurt
Gaffney (dated November 22, 2005) to officially close the Dustin & Prescott Water
Treatment Facility Project. The memo included a Budget Summary showing a project
cost savings of $69,046.066. Any future Water Department expenditures to be charged to
this project, must be deemed appropriate for this project, eligible for SRF fund loan
reimbursement, and must be submitted to the MBC for payment approval.
• MBC Chairman James Liddick issued a memo to Water Operations Manager Kurt
Gaffney (dated November 22, 2005) to confirm that the Water Department agrees to
assume responsibility from this point forward, for all warranty and maintenance items at
the Water Treatment Facility located at 500B East Street in Mansfield as previously
discussed.
Allegra Print & Imagiin — Water Treatment Facility Project
Motion to recommend payment to Allegra Print and Imaging in the amount of $888.55 for
printing copies (6) Record Drawings of the Dustin & Prescott Water Treatment Facility.
