Dustin & Prescott Water Treatment Facility Project • A claim for payment submitted to the General Contractor's bonding company (The Hartford Company) by Phoenix Sheet Metal for the sum of $53,600 is being investigated. A representative from The Hartford Company recently contacted the MBC Secretary to verify the completion status of the Water Treatment Facility Project. The MBC Secretary advised the bonding company representative that the project is complete and that the Town has paid the final payment to Hart Engineering. Phoenix Sheet Metal was hired by filed subcontractor, New England Piping, to furnish and install sheet metal for the Project, and are claiming that their company has not received payment for the work they performed. Since the Town of Mansfield did not have a contract with Phoenix Sheet Metal for this project, there is no way the AMC could verify the status of their payment. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Eleanor McCarter, Secretary es Liddick, Chairman 2+110c'. Date
