Warrant Article No. 22 is submitted by the School Committee for Town Meeting vote and reads as follows: • To see if the Town ivill vote to raise arrd appropriate or transfer from other financial sources the sum: of $500, 000 for Architectural Fees and Services for additions, renovations, and remodeling of the Mansf eld High School for the purposes of relieving overcrowding or other reasons, at the Mansfield Public Schools, or take any action in relation thereto. Warrant Article No. 21 is also submitted by the School Committee for Town Meeting vote this Spring 2006. This article requests funds for various capital items related to Mansfield schools, which appears to have some duplication to items in a funding request previously submitted to the MBC (letter from Superintendents' office in December 2005). Any future action regarding the School's request to the MBC will be based on School Building Authority funding eligibility. • Members noted the cost of capital expenses requested in this article are similar to that requested of the building committee. School Building Authority (SBA) Guidelines - David Young spoke earlier this week with the Director of the School Building Authority, Katherine Craven, who indicated that the new revised SBA Guidelines are incomplete at this time. She noted they are behind due to existing project funding issues. The revised SBA guidelines may not be issued to cities and towns until July 2006.
