Pr1 Meeting Minutes of September 26, 2006

Members Present: William Moore, Chairman, Alan Clapp, Kenneth Gay (7:50 p.m.),
and Eleanor McCarter, Secretary
James Liddick, Excused absence
Meeting commenced at 7:50 p.m. at which time a quorum was reached.
WATER TREATMENT FACILITY
Outstanding Warranty Items — The MBC continues to follow up on (3) three outstanding
warranty items at the Water Treatment Facility that need to be resolved. Additional
warranty items remaining are associated with the treatment system, and are being
addressed by the Mansfield Water Dept and Woodard & Curran.
1. Landscaping - MON Landscaping is scheduled to replace dead shrubs on
Wednesday, October 4, 2006. MBC had originally requested this work be
complete during planting season by end of September 2006.
2. Louver —Hart personnel visited the site recently to further evaluate what can be
done to eliminate the air gap in a louver located in the rear of the vehicle garage
station. This item remains open at this time.
3. Leak — Ongoing KOH leak near motorized valve in treatment area. Hart
personnel playing telephone tag with our Treatment Foreman. Parties have not
communicated as of this date.
GENERAL BUSINESS
MBC Meeting Minutes - September 12, 2006 (Review /Approval)
MOTION to approve: A. Moore/K. Gay; 3 -0 Passes.
File Maintenance — MBC Secretary continues to review and organize aging project files
Documentation is archived in accordance with the State Records Retention Schedule.
Outstanding MBC Project
Fisher Richardson House — MBC oversaw historical restoration to the Fisher Richardson
House located on Spring Street in Mansfield (2004). Limited project funds remain
available to complete electrical improvements and rear door replacement discussed near
the end of the project. Member Ken Gay indicated he still hopes to complete the rear
door replacement at some point with period like material with approval from the
Historical Commission.
Meeting Schedule —Due to the current level of project activity, Chairman Moore
suggested the MBC meet again in three weeks. The next posted meeting will be held
Tuesday, October 17, 2006.
Town Manager's office announced that the Special Fall Town Meeting will be held
Tuesday, November 14, 2006
Meeting adjourned at 5:15 P.M.
