Members Present: William Moore, Chairman, James Liddick, Clerk, Alan Clapp,
Kenneth Gay, and Eleanor McCarter, Secretary
Meeting to commence at 7:30 P.M.
WATER TREATMENT FACILITY
Outstanding Warranty Items List - Jim Liddick continues to communicate with Jim
Ramos of Hart Engineering to resolve final outstanding warranty items.
1. Landscaping - Jim Liddick sent electronic mail to Jim Ramos (Hart Engineering)
requesting that Hart provide assurance that MON Landscaping would replace two dead
plantings on the opposite side of the building or provide a refund to the Town for the
cost. MBC Secretary was asked to confirm.
2. Louver — Item is Closed. Staff personnel from Hart Engineering (Ray Lagesse) was
on site earlier this month and closed an air gap between louvers in the damper located in
vehicle storage area. Operation of the unit tested satisfactorily with Water Operations
Manager Kurt Gaffney and MBC Secretary present.
3. Leaks - Hart Engineering and/or their subcontractors are working directly with the
Mansfield Water Dept. at this point to resolve ongoing KOH leaks which have been a
persistent problem since the water treatment facility was complete.
The Water Dept. continues to work with the Woodard and Curran Engineers and Hart
Engineering regarding treatment system problems. The MBC is no longer handling these
issues.
DCAM Evaluation Forms — Commonwealth of Massachusetts sent evaluation forms to
the MBC for completion to rate work performance by subcontractors (Montle Plumbing
and New England Piping) on the Water Treatment Facility Project. Member Ken Gay
agreed to complete the forms on behalf of the Committee

Correspondence:
Ltr. from Board of Selectman re: 5 -year term expiring for Jim Liddick December 2006.
Member Liddick indicated to the Committee that he would not seek re- appointment to the
MBC.
