June 26.2014 Superintendent's Office An Open & Executive Meeting of the Mansfield School Committee was held at the Superintendent's Office on Tuesday, June 26, 2014. Chairperson, Mr. Michael Trowbridge, called for a motion to open the meeting. A motion was made to open the meeting 1s' by Mr. Wayne Smith, 2 °d by Mrs. Kiera O'Neil. Mr. Trowbridge opened the meeting at 6:14 pm. Motion U.C. 5 — 0 Members Present — roll call vote to open the Open Meeting; Mr. Michael Trowbridge, Mrs. Kiera O'Neil, Mrs. Lynn Cavicchi Mrs. Linda Fernando Mr. Wayne Smith, Jr. Also Present: Chairperson yes Vice Chairman yes yes yes yes Mrs. Brenda Hodges, Superintendent of Schools OPEN SESSION Mr. Trowbridge explained the evaluation instrument to the Committee and the process that would be used. He explained that the rating document and that he would randomly call on members as that members would not always be first to respond. The Committee discussed each of the categories with some categories eliciting more discussion and a clarification than others. Mr. Trowbridge explained the evaluation instrument pertaining to the goals. Each member was asked by the chair to identify where they believed the goal to have been met or not met. The Committee engaged in discussion regarding how each individual arrived at his/ her rating. Mr. Trowbridge called for a motion to enter into Executive session to discuss the Superintendent's Contract at 7:10 PM and then adjourn the meeting for the evening. A motion was made to move to Executive Session then adjourn for the evening.1 -t by Mr. Wayne Smith, 2nd by Mrs. Kiera O'Neil.
