Minutes of February 2.2, 1988
Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall
Members present: Linda. Sohn,Val Beatty,Julie Wagner,Kathy Benway, Peg Allen,
Darlene MacDonald Barbara Bluest ein,Barbara Galizia, Ruthanne Barr
and non- member Jill Winitzer. Also present was Do; Officec jock Rosado.
Martha. Armstrong and Sarah Romer from the MSPCA addressed the group.
They discussed the following; The "dangerous dog" bill before the
House of Represenatives, various laws and by -laws, and procedures
for animals coming into the pound. They will send all thi.er forms
regarding adoption, spaying and exams to iinda.. They also gave us
a copy 4f the new Spay /Neuter law going into effect in July. They
gave us the name of Paul Murphy in Hingham, VA who is also tryi_
to set up a shelter.
Peg Allen will make a sign for Saturday's adoption day at the
Darlene MacDonald will be helping Mal Beatty with the cat pr
Julie Wagner will be putting together a "doggy Bag" for all anima €s
adopted from the pound.
?inda. Sohn and Barbara Bluestein will start to work on by -laws
Ruthanne Barr to follow up spay /neuter program.
