The meeting came to order at 7:30 Vim.
Linda Sohn reviewed the results of the rabies clinic, which was
held on March 31, 1990 at the Mansfield High School. There were
101 licenses sold, which brought in $720.00 in revenue. Dr.
Sohn administer 108 rabies vaccinations. Both figures were up
from last year.
On Saturday, April 28, 1990 the town hall will be open all day
for voter registration. Linda Sohn indicated to Judy Scott that
we would like to give out licenses on that day. The committee
was in favor of working the town hall that day, since it is the
last Saturday before the fine is instituted for• not being
licensed. Barbara Bluestein will work from 9:00 am to 11:00 am,
Suzanne Barry will work from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Ruthanne Barr
will work from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and Linda Sohn will work from
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Linda Sohn is to notify Judy Scott of the
committee decision and arrange for the licensing to take place.
Our new Humane Gfficer was present at this meeting and reviewed
some of the items that he would like to address. He would like
to get_ more cat . cages, work on organization procedures, new
forms, do an inventory of the items at the shelter and whet wtiuld
be needed.
Linda Sohn is to contact Nancy Rosado about having a farewell
dinner for.Joc. Linda will call everyone in regards to the date
and time.
