The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:35 at the Mansfield Town Hall.
Minutes
Motion: To approve minutes from February 15'h meeting. (Sharon/Mary) 4:0 Passes
Spay Waggin Fees
Motion: To increase the spay /neuter fee by $30, effective in May. Adoption fee remains $80, spay /neuter
deposit remains $30, but owners who bring animals to be spayed/neutered by the Spay Waggin will pay
an additional $30 on the day of the procedure. (Sharon/Sally) 4:0 Passes
Space at Shelter
r Ana will try to contact Jeff to discuss helping the Plainville ACO by taking in two dogs since there are no
dogs currently at the shelter.
Spay Waggin Schedule
The Spay Waggin has been cancelled for March because ARL has a staffing problem and because we
don't have enough animals needing surgery. Next scheduled SW is Tuesday, April 20.
Site Plan Review
The site plan for the new shelter, drawn up by Woodard & Curran, is expected to be ready by the next
meeting, and will be presented and discussed then.
