Spay Waggin
*Next date: Monday, January 26. The Spay Waggin is available for two visits a month at
the shelter if needed.
• The Spay Waggin will be sponsoring clinics at Petco in Attleboro and Taunton. Ana
will post flyers at the shelter.
Macie
Discussed evaluating Macie and her dog aggression. Ana will ask Stacy to arrange an
appointment for the evaluation.
Shift Captain Workshop
Sharon will plan a date for a workshop for shift captains to review office procedures.
Foster Kittens
Sharon will bring Juan and Jose to the shelter as soon as they recover from respiratory infections.
Emily has four kittens that are being socialized; Sally has two kittens, also in need of
socialization, and being treated for lung worm. Vanessa's Emeril & Gerard were adopted.
Adoption and Spay/Neuter Fees
Discussed raising fees, but decided to review fees in spring if the economy improves. Ana would
like to raise adoption fees to $100 at some point.
Lysine
Upon recommendation from the Spay Waggin vet, lysine is being given to the cat, in wet food, on
the morning shift. Lysine boosts their immunity.

*Jeff would like to receive timely medical information on the animals, rather than after
the fact. Ex. Kismet
•MSF private adoptions, for animals that do not come to the shelter, are to be kept
separate from Town adoptions. Records should be clearly marked if adoptions are
private. The MSF website will continue to post private adoptions that clearly
indicate the animals are not at the shelter and that inquires should go only through
listed email addresses.
Fruit Street Gate
Because the DPW sand trucks use the shelter road throughout the day and night, Jeff temporarily
removed the chain and lock on the gate.
Adjournment
Motion: To adjourn at 8:25. Passes.
